Nutrition Health Habit Ideas

1. Eat a balanced breakfast daily.Breakfast1.jpg
  • Include fruit, whole grains, and protein.
  • Limit sugary cereals.
  • Eliminate all fast food breakfasts.
2. Drink more water.
  • Both diet and/or regular sodas are not good choices for drinks
  • Drinking water is the best and healthiest choice for your body.
  • If you do want some flavor, add lemon or other citrus juice to your water, or drink herbals (decaf) teas.
3. Eat more vegetables!
  • Perhaps set aside one day where you don’t eat meat, but focus on fresh vegetables.

  • Instead of vending machine candy bars, pack carrots, or an apple.
  • Cheese and whole grain crackers also make good snacks.
  • Nuts (unsalted or lightly salted) are great for snacking.
